Australian sand in my roots, I was always a free spirit — curious, restless, and ready for something more. I left home at sixteen, chasing independence and a life that felt a little less ordinary. By twenty-two, I was living in a pub, pulling beers, meeting characters from every walk of life, and collecting stories that would spark my love for adventure.
Since then, I’ve chased that feeling all over the world. From muay sangha training in Thailand, where I learned the beauty of stillness and self-awareness, to dancing naked under the stars in Maui — I discovered that freedom isn’t just a destination, it’s a mindset.
I’ve road-tripped across the U.S. in a van I built with my own two hands, scuba-dived the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, volunteered in Sri Lanka, surfed warm Costa Rican waves, and sailed across the Great Barrier Reef. I’ve lived on a scruffy old fishing boat off the coast of Canada, learnt Spanish along the way, and shared cold beers with strangers who somehow became family. Every country, every adventure, every unexpected friendship has shaped who I am today.

Now, I’m based in Costa Rica with my little boy, raising him with sand between our toes and pura vida in our hearts. This blog is my space to share travel stories, guides, and lessons from years on the road — from soul adventures and solo travel to hidden-gem destinations and mindful living.
